- Welcome to my blog! My name is Lisa Corkill, I am a mother of two and I work full time. I have been with Avon since 2007 and have loved every minute of it. I have met such great women who have all joined for different reasons. I joined Avon because I wanted to spend more time with my children. I used to commute over 2hrs a day to my job in the city. I was looking for something closer to home, that's when I saw an ad for Avon. Within a few days, I was on my way to building my own business thanks to my Leader Lynda. As I was joining Avon, I happened to find a full time job 10 mins from home. My ultimate dream is to work part time. My extra income from Avon will allow me to do this. The reason I am still with Avon is because I just love it...I love the meetings, the banquets, the awards and the free gifts. It is such a great company to be part of.
